Remember that emotional, physical, and/or chemical stress SHIFTS the nervous system into STRESS MODE. If the STRESS gets to be too much, then the nervous system can get STUCK in STRESS MODE (like a tripped circuit breaker).
Getting STUCK in STRESS MODE is NOT GOOD–it SUPRESSES healing, repair, & recovery! (This is like driving a car with only a gas pedal–no brakes!) When this happens, you become SUSCEPTIBLE to all sorts of PROLONGED DYSFUNCTION and BIGGER HEALTH PROBLEMS!!
GETTING ADJUSTED can help–it RELEASES and REDUCES that built-up STRESS. This allows the nervous system to get back to BALANCE, which helps you GET & STAY HEALTHY!
Now is the time to keep the good routine rolling to keep building positive health momentum. Always remember: don’t let perfect get in the way of better, and that we are here to help!!
WE ARE THANKFUL FOR ALL OF YOU, WHO CHOOSE ROM FAMILY CHIROPRACTIC TO BE A PART OF YOUR JOURNEY OF GETTING AND STAYING HEALTHY!!
Before we get to the links:
The health and safety of our patients and team is our highest priority. We are continuing to schedule by appointment only to allow for the thorough cleaning of surfaces between visits. We are limiting the number of people in the office at any given time, and we are following other suggested guidelines for safety and prevention to ensure a clean, stress-free environment for everyone.
If this crisis has showed us anything it’s how important it is to have a high level of durable baseline health and resilience—now more than ever!
Here are the links from our Rom Family Chiropractic Facebook page and all the good stuff we posted over the last week!
We like to post things on a wide variety of health topics, but it can all be broken down into 5 broad categories:
- Being well-adjusted
- Eating well
- Moving well
- Thinking well
- Sleeping well
Here are the links we posted from last week:
